At checkout, you choose how your funds are protected:

Option 1 | Protected Escrow: You pay a 2% non-refundable premium added to the item price. If you inspect the item at the meetup and reject it, you receive 100% of the item price back. The 2% premium is retained by Ledgehold. This is mandatory for items GHS 1,000 and above to make sure your funds are protected regardless.

Option 2 | Flexible Escrow: No upfront premium. If you request a refund, you receive 95% of the item price back. Ledgehold retains 5% as an escrow and routing fee. The exact amount you'd get back is always shown at checkout.

Option 3 | No Protection: No upfront premium. No refund path under any circumstance. You are contractually bound to complete the transaction. Only available on items below GHS 100.

To receive your payout, you must satisfy The Gatekeeper Policy.

The primary method is the QR Handshake: have the buyer scan the unique QR code displayed on your Merchant Dashboard at the point of delivery. The buyer enters their 4-digit Delivery PIN and swipes to confirm. This instantly authorizes your payout.

Once confirmed, your payout is processed automatically to your registered MoMo number. You'll receive an SMS confirmation when the transfer is initiated. Funds typically arrive within minutes.

Refunds depend on which protection option you selected at checkout:

Option 1 (Protected Escrow): If you reject the item at the meetup landmark, you receive 100% of the item price back. The 2% premium is non-refundable as it covers processing costs already incurred.

Option 2 (Flexible Escrow): You receive 95% of the item price back. The 5% retained covers escrow and routing costs.

Option 3 (No Protection): No refunds are available. You agreed to complete the transaction at the point of selection.

To request a refund, use the Request Refund button in the Customer Support options (available on every page). Have your transaction reference ready; it was sent to you via SMS after your purchase.

Cancellations and refunds for Food Run orders are only possible before the Run begins. Once our delivery agents have started the fulfillment process, no refunds can be issued as food is a perishable good. Please ensure you are at the pickup landmark within 10 minutes of arrival to avoid forfeiture.

ProlyfiQ acts as a neutral third party through Ledgehold Escrow. When you pay, your money is held securely; it is not released to the seller until you confirm satisfactory receipt at the agreed campus landmark.

This prevents "runaway sellers" and ensures you only pay for what you actually receive. The seller cannot access your funds without your explicit confirmation via the QR handshake and Delivery PIN.

All payments are processed through Paystack, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor used by thousands of businesses across Africa.

Your Delivery PIN is a 4-digit code you create at checkout. It acts as your digital signature to release funds from escrow.

When you meet the seller, you scan their QR code and enter this PIN. This proves you are the authorised buyer and confirms you've received the item. Never share your Delivery PIN with anyone; not even the seller. Just like your MoMo PIN, it protects your money.

If you enter the wrong PIN 5 times, the transaction is permanently locked for security. You'll need to contact support to resolve it.
